Das Produkt kann sehr flexibel genutzt werden, z.B. als Pulver oder Paste, die sich durch Zugabe von Wasser sehr rasch bildet. Somit entfällen die aufwendige Einrichtung von Salzlecken und das Heben schwerer Lecksteine sowie die Gefahr deren Entwendung.
Anwendung:
Methode 1: Das grobkörnige Salzdepot kann schnell und einfach mit Kirrgut (z.B. Mais, Getreide) kombiniert oder einfach auf den Kirrplatz gestreut werden.
Methode 2: Mit Wasser kann die No 15 schnell zur Salzpaste angerührt werden. Pro 100 g Salzdepot werden 30 ml - 35 ml Wasser benötigt, für 2 kg Salzdepot 600 ml-700 ml. Idealerweise wird die Paste auf eine horizontale oder nahezu horizontale Fläche aufgetragen, z.B. auf Baumstümpfe oder Todholz. Tipp: die Paste immer direkt nach dem Anrühren frisch ausbringen. Länger stehende Paste kann zur Separation neigen und muß vor der Ausbringung gut durchmischt werden.
Achtung: Auftragen auf Bäume kann zu Schälschäden führen.
