Camera test at the autumn forest edge

Markus looks at the small display of the wildlife camera as he carefully wipes damp leaves from the lens. The morning is still young; the dew on his AIGLE shoes hints at a chilly night. In his left hand, he holds an open forester’s bag containing a screwdriver and a spare battery. 'Battery’s full, now for a test shot,' Markus mutters, leans forward, and presses the shutter. A squirrel darts across a fallen log, the camera display flashes briefly. Markus nods with satisfaction, pulls the hood of his fleece hoodie further over his face, and lingers for a moment before moving on.
